Frank khan is best known for his modern contemporary sculpture work. Self-taught and describing himself as somewhat of an art fundamentalist. He prefers his work to capture powerful social messages as opposed to merely showcasing beauty.

Besides her own uniquely blended backgrounds of the German and the Iranian culture, she became very much interested in the African culture and its people when visiting South Africa. Through her marriage into the Xhosa culture, she was able to gain more insight into the African culture and myths that influence her art.

...and so the painting began, and so did the frustration of limited expression. The only solution was to throw myself into the vast sea of 3D possibility, and so the thrilling life of sculpture began to unfold. This is what now consumes my days, and all-consuming and most fulfilling.
